Prof. Dr. Mpoy-Kamulayi started his efforts to establish the Coalition for Peace and Justice in Africa (CJPA) in June 2000 while he was serving as a Lead Counsel in the World Bank’s Legal Department where he initiated and heralded the organization of the All-Africa Conference on Law, Justice and Development. The Conference adopted the Abuja Declaration on Law, Justice and Development in Africa. After more than a decade of perseverance, his efforts culminated with incorporation of the Coalition of African Jurists (CAJ) in the District of Columbia in 2013. CAJ was renamed as CJPA in 2015....
